Product Discovery & Design

A time-boxed start that turns ambition into a buildable product — without committing the whole engineering budget on day one.

01Questions buyers ask

What people actually ask before they hire us.

What's the smallest scope worth shipping?
The smallest version that lets real users disprove or confirm the riskiest assumption in your product. If they pay with their attention, you have validation. If they pay with their wallet, you have product-market fit.
How do you validate a product before committing engineering budget?
Two-to-four week sprints that produce a clickable prototype plus interview synthesis from 8–12 target users. We come out with a build / kill / pivot recommendation and a written cost estimate for the build phase.
When does discovery hand off to build?
When the riskiest assumption is validated, the technical architecture is sketched, and the engineering team has read the discovery output. Discovery without that handoff is documentation theater.
Why design separate from engineering?
We don't, mostly. At our scale design is engineering — the same people prototyping interactions wire them up. The separation makes sense at 100-engineer orgs, not at five.
02What we deliver

The shape of the work.

Capabilities

  • Discovery sprints (2–4 weeks, fixed scope)
  • Prototyping & validation
  • UX & interaction design
  • Brand systems & visual identity

How it goes

  1. Weeks 1–2Interview & observe

We map your users and your current product surface. Calls, screen-shares, no assumptions.

  2. Week 3Synthesize & prototype

Clickable artifacts you can put in front of users — not slides, not Figma walkthroughs.

  3. Week 4Validation + recommendation

Real users react to the prototype. We hand you a written build / kill / pivot recommendation with an engineering estimate.

Have a product discovery & design problem we should talk about?

We answer in plain language, not vendor pitch. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you that too.
