What people actually ask before they hire us.

What's the difference between staff augmentation and embedded engineering?
Staff aug is a body on a ticket queue. Embedded engineering is a senior who attends your standup, ships PRs against your codebase, and pushes back on your roadmap when they see a better path. We do the second.
How do you avoid the junior-dev bait-and-switch?
The seniors who pitch your work are named in writing in the SOW. They're the ones doing the work. If we ever swap, you approve the swap. That's a contractual commitment, not a vibe.
What does 'accountable like founders' actually mean operationally?
We push back on bad spec. We say no when something will hurt your users. We don't bill hours for ceremony. We ship even when nobody on your side is watching. Same incentives as founders, less equity.
How long is a typical engagement?
Three-plus years on average. Not because contracts trap clients, but because we keep being useful. The shortest is three months (a focused project). The longest is seven years and still going.
