AI Strategy & Readiness

A half-day AI Readiness Assessment, an ROI-ranked map of what to build first, and a fractional CTO when you need one — honest even when the answer isn't us.

01Questions buyers ask

What people actually ask before they hire us.

What is an AI readiness assessment?
A half-day working session with your leadership and the people who run the process, followed by a written read-out within the week: where AI would actually pay off in your operation, what your data and systems can support today, what would have to change first, and the single workflow to ship first. Ranked by ROI, priced as a fixed half day, and honest about whether the right next move involves Streaver at all.
What does a fractional CTO do, and when do we need one?
A fractional CTO owns the technical decisions a company cannot yet justify a full-time executive for: architecture, vendor and model choices, the hiring plan, security posture, what to build and what to buy. You need one when those decisions are being made by whoever is loudest in the room, or by a vendor with an incentive. At Delos we embedded as fractional CTO from a whiteboard and three letters of intent, froze the architecture in week two, and wrote every decision down as an architecture decision record — twenty-three of them so far.
How is this different from an agency's free 'AI strategy' call?
It is paid, it is short, and it ends in writing. A free strategy call is a sales conversation with a deck. We would rather charge for half a day and tell you not to build something than charge for six months of building the wrong thing. 'We won't quote you for AI we can't ship' is one of the four commitments printed on our services page, and this is where it gets tested.
What happens after the assessment?
One of three honest outcomes. Build: we scope the first workflow as an Applied AI engagement, or you drive it yourself through Managed Agentic Delivery. Wait: we tell you what has to be true first and what it costs to make it true. Not us: we point you at the tool or the team that fits. Clients who build usually open with a time-boxed discovery, so the budget follows evidence rather than a pitch.
02What we deliver

The shape of the work.

Capabilities

  • Half-day AI Readiness Assessment: your stack, data and team, scored honestly
  • ROI-ranked workflow map: which process to automate first, and which to leave alone
  • Fractional CTO & AI Lead embedded in your leadership cadence
  • Build, buy or wait recommendations — including 'not Streaver' when that is the answer

How it goes

  1. 30 minutesQualify

A call with our CEO. If half a day would not change your decision, we say so here and you keep the half day.

  2. Half dayAssess

Your stack, your data, the processes that eat your team's week. We score readiness and rank the candidate workflows by return.

  3. Within a weekWritten read-out

What to build first, what to wait on, what would have to change — and an estimate for the first build, if there is one.

  4. OngoingFractional CTO

Senior technical leadership in your cadence: architecture calls, vendor and model choices, hiring, security. Monthly, for as long as it is useful.

After launch

A read-out is a document. A fractional CTO is a cadence.

Cadence
Monthly leadership sessions plus asynchronous decisions in your own tools; every architecture and vendor call written down as a decision record.
Commercial shape
A fixed half day for the assessment. The fractional CTO runs month to month with no minimum term — useful for as long as it is useful.
Reviews
Quarterly: what we recommended, what shipped, what changed in your market or your stack, and whether the next hire should replace us.
Hand-off
Every recommendation and record is yours. When you hire a full-time CTO the handover is a folder, not a negotiation.
03Proof

One client. One result. Real numbers.

My advice would be to engage Streaver as a true partner, not just a development vendor.

Need an honest read on where AI fits before you commit budget?

We answer in plain language, not vendor pitch. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you that too.
