About the role

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the design, development, and evolution of high-impact software products at Streaver. You'll own meaningful problems end to end, set the technical bar, and help the people around you grow.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications (web or mobile) using modern frameworks.
Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions that evolve with product needs.
Work closely with designers, product owners, and other engineers to ship features.
Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
Stay current with technology trends and identify opportunities to improve the stack.
Review code and mentor junior developers to elevate team capabilities.
Write clean, well-documented code and maintain a high bar for quality.
Optimize performance, reliability, and usability across the stack.

What we're looking for

5+ years experience designing and deploying full-stack applications.
Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience using Next.js.
Experience working with cloud platforms (especially AWS or Vercel).
Solid backend knowledge with Node.js, Python, Ruby, or similar languages.
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and RESTful API design.
A product mindset, with the ability to turn client needs into effective technical solutions.
Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers and fostering a learning culture.
Excellent communication skills and advanced English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

Experience with FastAPI, Rails, or other backend frameworks.
Exposure to serverless architectures or edge functions.
Interest in user experience and front-end performance tuning.

Location & work model

Montevideo, Uruguay. Three days a week in-office during onboarding, then a flexible hybrid model.
