About the role
We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the design, development, and evolution of high-impact software products at Streaver. You'll own meaningful problems end to end, set the technical bar, and help the people around you grow.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications (web or mobile) using modern frameworks.
- Architect scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions that evolve with product needs.
- Work closely with designers, product owners, and other engineers to ship features.
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Stay current with technology trends and identify opportunities to improve the stack.
- Review code and mentor junior developers to elevate team capabilities.
- Write clean, well-documented code and maintain a high bar for quality.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and usability across the stack.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years experience designing and deploying full-stack applications.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience using Next.js.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (especially AWS or Vercel).
- Solid backend knowledge with Node.js, Python, Ruby, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and RESTful API design.
- A product mindset, with the ability to turn client needs into effective technical solutions.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers and fostering a learning culture.
- Excellent communication skills and advanced English (written and spoken).
Nice to have
- Experience with FastAPI, Rails, or other backend frameworks.
- Exposure to serverless architectures or edge functions.
- Interest in user experience and front-end performance tuning.

Location & work model
Montevideo, Uruguay. Three days a week in-office during onboarding, then a flexible hybrid model.
