About the role

We're looking for a Semi Senior DevOps Engineer to help lead and scale our infrastructure, automation, and cloud delivery capabilities. You'll keep our platforms fast, secure, and reliable while making it easier for every engineer to ship.

What you'll do

Design and manage infrastructure as code (ideally with AWS CDK).
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or others.
Operate and optimize AWS environments focused on scalability, security, and reliability.
Implement monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Signoz).
Drive security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and services.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support developers and improve deployment processes.
Participate in infrastructure-related architectural decisions.
Document systems and keep shared knowledge accessible.
Mentor junior teammates and promote a learning culture.

What we're looking for

2+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
Deep hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ECS/Fargate, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (CDK preferred, or Terraform/Pulumi).
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
A strong understanding of containerization and Docker.
Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python).
Experience with logging and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Signoz, Datadog, ELK, Prometheus).
A solid understanding of cloud security principles.
Intermediate or advanced English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2).
GitOps or policy-as-code automation practices.
AWS certifications.

Location & work model

Montevideo, Uruguay. Three days a week in-office during onboarding, then a flexible hybrid model.
