About the role
We're looking for a senior Salesforce Developer with strong backend engineering to join our team. You'll develop and maintain the Apex foundation of our client's packaged Salesforce product — writing and refactoring code, solving complex technical problems, and optimizing around Governor limits to keep the solution performant, maintainable, and built to scale across every customer org it runs in.

What you'll do
Apex development
- Design, build, and refactor custom business logic in Apex, with a focus on modernizing legacy code in complex, long-lived orgs.
- Debug multi-layered issues across triggers, classes, and asynchronous processes.
- Optimize around Governor limits — bulkification, efficient SOQL/SOSL, async patterns.
- Work within 1st and 2nd generation package structures (managed/unmanaged).
- Write comprehensive test classes with meaningful coverage and assertions.
UI & component development
- Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Maintain and migrate legacy Aura components.
- Develop and maintain Visualforce pages.
Data modeling & architecture
- Design and evolve scalable data models: custom objects, relationships, custom metadata/settings.
- Build custom sharing logic and secure, well-architected data access patterns.
Integrations & deployments
- Integrate with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
- Manage deployments across environments using Salesforce DX and the CLI.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with a strong focus on Apex.
- Proven experience refactoring and modernizing legacy Apex code in complex, long-lived orgs.
- Deep understanding of Governor limits and how to design around them.
- Advanced knowledge of LWC, Aura, and Visualforce.
- Strong data modeling skills: objects, relationships, custom metadata/settings, sharing logic.
- Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations and Salesforce DX/CLI-based workflows.
- Strong debugging skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting, with solid testing practices.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
