About the role

We're looking for a Semi Senior Full Stack Engineer to help design and build innovative, scalable software solutions. You'll work across the stack alongside a senior, supportive team and grow fast on real, high-impact problems.

What you'll do

Build and maintain robust web or mobile full-stack applications using modern frameworks.
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and team leaders to deliver product features.
Analyze and solve complex problems with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Contribute to code quality through clean implementations, testing, and reviews.
Stay up to date with evolving technologies and bring fresh ideas to improve our stack and practices.

What we're looking for

3+ years experience designing, developing, and deploying full-stack web applications.
Solid skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience in Next.js or Express.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Vercel, or similar services.
An understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and version control (Git).
The ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
Intermediate to advanced English for technical discussions and documentation.

Nice to have

Exposure to other backend languages like Python or Ruby.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
Interest in performance optimization and front-end best practices.

Location & work model

Montevideo, Uruguay. Three days a week in-office during onboarding, then a flexible hybrid model.
