On October 21st and 22nd, Streaver participated in the third edition of the increasingly popular Quality Sense Conf in Medellín, Colombia, a key event in the IT industry. Our CTO, Federico Kauffman , had the opportunity to represent Streaver, connecting with industry leaders and reinforcing our commitment to enhancing software quality.

The event also coincided with WOPR Latam, a crucial workshop on performance and reliability for the Latin American community. Federico shared his experiences attending both events, highlighting his learnings, including the massive efforts one of the region’s largest airlines made to ensure post-pandemic reliability in their systems—an impressive feat. He also got a firsthand look at how a major digital telecommunications company tests their legacy systems, and how one of the largest on-demand live streaming platforms in the world successfully endured a performance test that would challenge most applications.

Federico also attended a great talk by Sebastián Lorenzo on their contributions to the JMeter community, further strengthening our knowledge and networks in performance testing and cloud infrastructure.

The insights gained at Quality Sense Conf and WOPR Latam were invaluable in shaping the future of our work and our contribution to the tech community.
